These Terms & Conditions apply to rseacademy.ca, free demos, private and small-group online CELPIP coaching, the student practice portal and related learning material. By using the website or enrolling, you agree to the terms that apply to that service.
About RSE Academy and CELPIP
RSE Academy provides independently created CELPIP preparation and language-skills coaching. RSE Academy is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Paragon Testing Enterprises or the official CELPIP test provider. RSE Academy does not administer the official CELPIP test.
Free demos and enrolment
A free demo or enquiry does not guarantee a place, schedule or group. Before payment, RSE Academy will confirm the selected format, fee, start date, time zone, expected schedule, session arrangement, feedback cycle and the cancellation/rescheduling terms that apply to your class plan. Please do not pay until you have reviewed that written confirmation.
Class formats and delivery
- Classes are delivered live online unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing.
- Private coaching is one-to-one. Small groups are normally limited to 2–3 learners.
- The advertised four-week period describes the program length; class frequency, session duration and total live hours are confirmed in the individual class plan.
- Group start dates depend on compatible learner availability. A requested time is not confirmed until RSE Academy accepts it in writing.
Fees and payment
Current standard fees are shown on the CELPIP Classes page. Any different package, currency conversion, payment method, tax or promotional arrangement must be confirmed in writing. Enrolment is confirmed only after any required payment is received and acknowledged.
Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds
The rescheduling, missed-class, cancellation and refund terms for your booking will be provided in writing before payment because they may differ between private and small-group classes. That written class plan forms part of these terms. Group sessions may depend on the availability of other learners. No refund or repeated teaching is automatically owed solely because a learner misses a confirmed session or does not achieve a desired score, except where the written class plan or applicable law provides otherwise.
Recordings and learning material
Live-session recordings are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed. Notes, worksheets, original questions, mock tests, portal content, recordings and feedback are for the enrolled learner’s personal study. They may not be copied, sold, published, screen-recorded, shared with another person or used to create competing material without written permission.
Student practice portal
- Portal access is personal and login details must not be shared.
- Students may practise individual modules, skip or revisit sections and retake available mocks.
- Listening and Reading are automatically scored; Writing and Speaking may remain pending until instructor review.
- The access start/end date and any feedback entitlement are confirmed with the class plan.
- RSE Academy may suspend access for account sharing, misuse, abusive conduct, security risk or non-payment.
Learner responsibilities and technology
You are responsible for attending on time, completing agreed practice, using a stable internet connection, compatible current browser, working headphones/speakers and microphone, and keeping your login secure. Technical problems on a learner’s device or connection may affect a session, recording or test attempt.
Practice results and no score guarantee
Portal and diagnostic results are practice estimates, not official CELPIP levels. Coaching can improve preparation, but results depend on the learner, attendance, practice, language level, test conditions and official scoring. RSE Academy does not guarantee admission, immigration outcomes, employment, a specific CELPIP level or an official test result.
Free diagnostic
The public diagnostic is an original RSE Academy learning tool. It is shorter than an official test and is intended to identify possible priorities, not determine an official level. Public diagnostic progress is stored on the device as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Respectful use
Learners must communicate respectfully and must not harass an instructor or another learner, disrupt a group, attempt to access another account, upload unlawful material or interfere with the website or portal.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep the website and portal available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Hosting, browsers, email, video-conferencing, payment or other third-party services may occasionally be unavailable or change. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices.
Privacy
Use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Portal users should not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for language practice.
Learners under 18
A parent or guardian should review and accept the class plan and payment terms for a learner under 18.
Changes and contact
